How to manually move contacts within a HighLevel Workflow

Ok, picture the scene.

You have just built out a new HighLevel Workflow and Published it.  You have either manually added contacts or a trigger is triggering and adding contacts to the Workflow.

Then to your horror you see in the Workflow or one of your team notify you that people are getting the wrong email -Argh!  And you have that heart stopping moment – have you been there? Know what I mean?

So you have to act quick and apply a fix to rectify the situation. What do you do?

  1. Pause the Workflow immediately. Make a copy of it or update it and start over. Not forgetting that the recipients already received the first email.
    or
  2. Manually tweak the contacts within the Workflow to move them to the right point in the Workflow.  However, there is no easy and built-in way to do this. But using two Workflow actions – Go To and If/Else we can hack the system in order to bulk move contacts to the correct point in the Workflow.
