When it comes to closing down and cancelling a HighLevel account, the first thing you need to know is that there are actually two types of account:
1. An Agency Account
If you’ve been selling HighLevel sub-accounts to clients, then you have what’s known as an Agency account. I’ve already written a detailed guide on how to close an Agency account here: How to Close a HighLevel Agency.

2. A Sub Account
If you’ve simply been using HighLevel for your own marketing and running campaigns, then you have a Sub Account.
How you close and cancel your Sub Account depends on where you purchased it from. Most people don’t buy directly from HighLevel — they get their access via a HighLevel reseller (also called a HighLevel White Label Agency).
How to Cancel a HighLevel Sub Account
Step 1: Check Your Account Settings
Go to:
Settings → Company Billing → Manage Billing → Cancel Account
If your HighLevel reseller has left this option enabled, you may be able to request a cancellation directly from within your account.
Or…
Step 2: Contact Your White Label Agency
If you don’t see the cancellation option in your billing settings, that means your account is managed directly by the HighLevel White Label Agency that provided it. In this case, you’ll need to:
- Contact the agency directly to request account cancellation.
- Check whether your contract includes a notice period or minimum term.
- Request cancellation in writing so you have a clear record.
Each agency sets its own cancellation terms, so the process will vary.
