SpamKill is an Keap / Infusionsoft tool that is very highly recommended by Keap / Infusionsoft Consultants and it enables you to stop spambots filling your Keap / Infusionsoft database.
Have you ever found a whole heap of “crap” contacts in your Keap / Infusionsoft? These are created by spambots that latch on to your Keap / Infusionsoft forms and automatically submit the form with rubbish.
Now, Keap / Infusionsoft does have the Google Captcha built-in. But this does not completely solve the issue. This is because the Google Captcha only works after the first spam submission. So all the spambot has to do is switch to a different IP address and it then carries on adding a heap of crap contacts.
Now, you can combat this with a simple Keap / Infusionsoft campaign that involves asking on the form a simple question – that will identify the real contacts and then you can manually delete the spam contacts in batches. So it solves the issue but adds an extra step for the contact filling in the form and creates a bit of manually housekeeping in your Infusionsodft. Here is my blog post on how to do this.
