Since converting to using Gsuite (formerly Google Apps for Business) and Gmail earlier this year I have not looked back. Before I was hindered by using Microsoft Outlook. But converting to Gmail (with GSuite I can use my domain email address julian@julianmills.co.uk, so I do not use the free …gmail.com) opens up a whole new world – other tools and systems can be integrated much more easily.
For instance, for us Keap / Infusionsoft users we can sync our Gmail accounts, see this blog post on how to do this. Now every time a prospect or customer emails me, or I email them then the email is automatically recorded to their Keap / Infusionsoft record.
And using Zapier I am able to easily integrate Keap / Infusionsoft with a range of Gsuite tools. For instance I can auto populate Google sheets with new customer details as new customers are created within Keap / Infusionsoft. And I can even dynamically update existing records in the Google Sheets as details change within Keap / Infusionsoft.
But these are just Keap / Infusionsoft examples. There are more and more general apps that can help us with our work. To my mind this is the future and I recommend to my clients if they can, that they should switch at the earliest opportunity to Gmail and Gsuite.
