Hi I’m John, Keap / Infusionsoft is a robust, powerful tool for our customers who are seeking functionality that they can’t find in Keap Pro, functionality such as advanced reporting, multiple sales pipelines, referral partners, or affiliates as they’re sometimes called, e-commerce shopping cart and order forms. Keap / Infusionsoft is the complete solution for your CRM, marketing and e-commerce. Let’s take a look.

Keap / Infusionsoft opens up to your dashboard page revealing key information and activities for your business. When you hover over the Keap / Infusionsoft icon you reveal the Keap / Infusionsoft navigation pane, and the five main areas of the software. My Nav, CRM, Marketing, E-commerce and Admin. Each area contains subtopics reports and settings.

My Nav includes basic training, Initial Setup, Dashboard and My Day. The My Nav portion of the navigation panel lets you bookmark top use features for easier access. These might include such items as basic training with resources to get you started using Keap / Infusionsoft, initial setup with a checklist of actions needed to set up your Keap / Infusionsoft application. The dashboard with tools and widgets to see your business at a glance, and My Day, which shows all of your tasks, appointments and associated contacts so you can plan your day, the CRM area contains all things customer related including Contacts, Companies, Opportunities, Referral Partners, Visitors and Zapier integrations. In Contacts you will see a list of your contacts with access to all their personal information like your dashboard, your view of the contacts is customizable so you can select the fields you wish to see. In Companies, you get a complete list of the companies that have been loaded with your contacts. You can also identify all contacts in your application that are related to a company. Opportunities are an additional record for a contact that documents all relevant information as it relates to an extended sales process. Opportunities are used to automate your sales process and manage prospects throughout the sales lifecycle. Referral partners are partners that passively sell your products on their websites for commission you paid them on a successful lead acquisition or sale. Visitors reveals a list of all anonymous contacts that land on a site where you may be using a web form or Keap / Infusionsoft tracking link. These are visitors who have not opted into your marketing yet. Once a visitor does opt in to your marketing, this log is reviewed for prior visits and becomes part of the contacts web history. Keap / Infusionsoft has a native integration with Zapier that connects hundreds of outside resources into your Keap / Infusionsoft application.

The marketing area includes Campaign Builder, Email and Broadcast, Lead Generation and more. Campaign Builder gives you customizable sales and marketing automation designed specifically for your needs, including multiple sales pipelines. Email and Broadcasts lets you create a one-off email message to your list in just minutes. Lead Generation shows you a list of your current lead sources and allows you to create new lead sources, the lead source list is constantly being updated as new sources are identified with new contacts. The templates area is where legacy templates are located. Legacy refers to functionality from previous releases of Keap / Infusionsoft that may still be active.

Selling products or services online or through email is easy with Keap / Infusionsoft E-commerce. In E-commerce setup, you create Products, sign up for Keap payments or connect one of the many merchant accounts available. The Products area allows you to create online Storefronts, Shopping Carts, Products and Services with functionality for Order Forms, One Time Purchases, Subscriptions, Digital Products with electronic keys and Special Offers. In payment types, you set up Keap payments or other merchant accounts, so that money paid through your shopping cart, order forms or manual payments goes to your bank account. It’s in this area that you can also create receipt templates and create payment plans for your customers. Actions are rule-based automations that you set up outside the Campaign Builder, for the most part, anything you might do here might trigger activity in the Campaign Builder. And for promotions, you can set up special pricing based on quantity, currency amount, time, shipping or promo codes. You can also set up shipping options, fulfillment reports to ship from remote warehouses and set up inventory levels for physical products. As in the marketing area Legacy refers to the functionality from previous releases of Keap / Infusionsoft that may still be active.

The admin area is where you set up your Branding, Billing and Account Information, Users, Import data and clean up your database. The Branding centre is where you add template branding and your logo so they feed into emails, web forms, landing pages and thank-you pages. Billing and Accounts is where you see information related to your account, you will find your current Keap / Infusionsoft plan and pricing with upgrade options to increase your contacts, add users, and to see usage for the current billing cycle. The Users area allows you to add new users, deactivate users, add Keap / Infusionsoft partners and edit permissions for any of your current users.

Importing data is easy from the data import area, here, you import your data files for your contacts, companies, products, and tags. Data cleanup allows you to modify existing records, check for duplicate records, merge duplicate contact records and the ability to look at previous imports. You even have the ability to roll back a previous import, as if it were never there.
