Use a Seed Launch to get your Lean Startup of the ground
If you are launching your business via the Lean Startup methodology proposed by Eric Ries then you should make it a priority to get a copy of Launch by Jeff Walker as I believe it is essential reading for anyone interested in a Lean Startup.
What Jeff has done with his training programme ‘Product Launch Formula’ and now his book called Launch is studied the psychology of the buyer and built a programme around that psychology. In his Seed Launch methodology Jeff outlines how you can be actively selling a product and bring in revenue as you create your product – no need to spend months crafting a product only to find there is no demand. And as you bring your product to market in a seed launch your customers feedback continuously enabling you to refine your product so that it is a product the market actually wants, rather than creating a product based solely on your belief in what the market wants.
Although primarily aimed at information type products the methodologies and thinking can bring a huge benefit to most businesses who want to sell online.
This is definitely a book that I would recommend to anyone considering a Lean Startup.
