HighLevel is thrilled to introduce two new updates to enhance account security and management.
#### 1. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for Enhanced Security on the Mobile App
To ensure optimal protection for user accounts, HighLevel has integrated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for additional coverage. With 2FA, the safeguarding of user data is prioritized, guaranteeing security in the event of password compromise.
How 2FA Works:
– Name and password are entered on the login screen, followed by clicking on “Sign In”.
– A verified email ID or phone number must be selected to receive a One-Time Password (OTP).
– Upon receiving the OTP, enter it and click on “Verify and Sign In”.
– Once the authentication is successful, redirection to the Sub-Account occurs.
#### 2. Password Management from the Mobile App
A new ‘Change Password’ feature is now accessible under General Settings to support seamless password updates through the mobile app, eliminating the need to access the web app. For improved security, changing the password will result in automatic logging out from all active sessions across devices.
Changing Password Procedure:
1. Open the mobile app, navigate to Settings.
2. Under General Settings, click on “Change Password”.
3. Key in the current password and the new password.
4. Click “Update” to save changes.
5. Upon successful update, the password will be changed, and all existing sessions will be terminated for added security.
The updates are available for HighLevel v3.88.1 and above, LeadConnector v3.88.1 and above, and whitelabelled apps, although an update request is required for the latter.
