17/12/24 – Introducing HighLevel’s New Agency Wallet Usage Notification Feature: The Smart Way to Monitor and Manage Wallet Usage

Introducing the Agency Wallet Usage Notification Feature from HighLevel

HighLevel is delighted to present the Agency Wallet Usage Notification Feature. This tool is designed to aid agency owners in overseeing and managing wallet usage across their subsidiary accounts. By providing prompt alerts when sub-accounts surpass set wallet usage limits, it reduces unexpected charges and simplifies wallet management.

New Features Introduced

HighLevel introduces several new components with this feature:

  • Threshold Configuration: Agencies now have the ability to set custom notification thresholds for wallet usage by their subsidiary accounts, ensuring more spending control.
  • Email Notifications: Agency owners, as well as any administrators or users indicated, will receive email notifications when the set wallet usage limit is exceeded.
  • Retrospective Usage Calculation: The feature factors in wallet usage from the beginning of the chosen period (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) for a comprehensive view of wallet activity.
  • Reduced Notification Spam: To prevent inbox overload, a single notification per subsidiary account will be sent each day, irrespective of the number of times the threshold is surpassed.

Guidelines for Usage

In order to access the configuration, take the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Agency View > Billing > Notifications > Wallet.
  2. Ensure the feature is enabled. If not, do so.
  3. Click ‘Add a condition’ to establish the desired threshold and select the frequency of notifications.
  4. If desired, include administrator or user email addresses for notifications. The agency owner will always be notified by default.

Upon a subsidiary account exceeding the wallet usage threshold, a notification email will be sent for that account the same day.

Necessity of this Feature

HighLevel provides this feature to help agencies monitor high transaction volumes across their subsidiary accounts to prevent unexpected charges and reduce the possibility of refund requests when re-billing isn’t enabled. It serves as a proactive instrument for managing and controlling wallet expenses.

What to Expect Next

In the pipeline of upcoming updates, agencies will gain the ability to set thresholds per subsidiary account, providing even more control over wallet usage.
