HighLevel is committed to ensuring enhanced account security for all users. In line with this, an automatic log out feature has been introduced after a prolonged period of inactivity. This significant update allows agencies to enforce security on their users while customising session management based on their own compliance requirements or security policies.

New Features Introduced

  • Default Timeout for HIPAA-Compliant Agencies: HighLevel automatically sets the session timeout value to 1 day for agencies adhering to HIPAA standards. This aligns with the strict security requirements of these agencies.
  • Flexible Options for Non-HIPAA-Compliant Agencies: In a bid to offer greater flexibility, agencies not bound by HIPAA regulations can now select “Never” as a session timeout value, utilizing this to meet their operational needs. By default, this setting is marked as “Never”.

This configuration can be accessed and modified under the Agency Settings > Company page.
