23/10/24 – Introducing HighLevel’s Newest Features: Enhancing Workflow with Notes, Sticky Notes, and the all-new Sidebar

HighLevel takes pleasure in announcing the introduction of a highly anticipated feature for workflows: Notes. With this update, it becomes possible to add and keep track of important information for each workflow.

All New Sidebar:
HighLevel implements enhanced navigation, as Stats View is now situated in the sidebar along with the new Notes and Sticky Notes options. By selecting the Stats View icon, it’s possible to activate or deactivate the view. The icon will highlight when active, indicating the feature’s activation.

Workflow Level Notes:
Admins are enabled to add Notes for a specific workflow. After selecting the “Notes” icon, notes can be added which will be visible to all users. Saving occurs when the Workflow saves. Tracking includes the created and edited data and information, enabling comprehensive tracking of changes and timing.

Sticky Notes:
This involves clicking the “Sticky Notes” icon to create sticky notes with color options, aiding in differentiation between various notes and categories. A Rich Text Editor is available for text formatting, while images can be added to the sticky notes. Users can control the visibility of these notes by clicking on the “Hide Notes” button, giving them control over their visibility.

Action Level Notes (Formerly known as Comments):
When a user hovers over an action, they’ll see the notes icon in the top-right corner. By clicking it, they can add action-specific notes that others can view and build upon. The icon will appear permanently if the note is added to an action. Each note maintains a history of additions, making it easy for teams to track discussions, updates, and feedback on specific actions within a workflow. All Action-Level Notes are also available in the primary Notes section, allowing users to see and search through all notes in one place.

Use Cases:
HighLevel’s Workflow-Level Notes can be used for high-level descriptions, objectives, and context, hence ensuring everyone understands the purpose of each workflow. Sticky Notes can be used to create color-coded task lists and visual reminders for team members, aiding in workflow progress tracking. Sticky Notes can guide sub-account users each step of the way through each action and trigger, making it ideal for training and onboarding new users. Action-Level Notes can be attached for instructions, feedback, or context related to each specific action, ensuring clarity and enhancing team collaboration.
