22/10/24 – Enhance Your Business with HighLevel: Sync and Promote Products on Meta Commerce through Facebook and Instagram Shops

HighLevel can now enable store owners to easily publish and sync products from their e-commerce stores to Meta Commerce without any hassle. This opens up an opportunity for sales through Facebook and Instagram Shops. HighLevel provides powerful sales and marketing tools so that products can be promoted effectively and targeted audiences are reached. Inventory is automatically synced to the Facebook and Instagram shop, simplifying inventory management and ad running across both platforms.

Using HighLevel with Meta Commerce

Store owners are enabled to create a shop in Meta Commerce Manager by HighLevel if they don’t already possess one. Within the Business Portfolio on Meta Commerce Manager, clicking on “Add Account” in the Commerce Accounts section is the first step to set up a shop.

With HighLevel:

  1. Enable the Multiple Facebook Pages feature, which is found under Sub-account Settings -> Labs.
  2. Navigate to Sub-account Settings > Integrations > Facebook & Instagram to access the integration.
  3. Link the Facebook account and grant required permissions for first-time connecters. Then, the Facebook/Instagram Shop pages are selected to connect with the Highlevel E-commerce Stores in the “Manage Pages” section.
  4. Reconnecting existing Facebook/ Instagram integration users requires some extra steps:
    • This integration will only be available in the multiple Facebook feature after enabled under the Labs Section.
    • Disconnect and reconnect the integration to enable Shops.
    • Before reconnecting, remove the LeadConnector integration on the Facebook side under Facebook Profile –> settings & privacy –> Settings –> Search for “business integrations”.
    • Upon reconnection, Shops are enabled.
    • An error message will be displayed that Catalog Management is disabled if the requisite scope is not present.
  5. Link the shop pages to Ecommerce stores through “Messenger Settings” in the Facebook and Instagram Integration card. The selected pages will be displayed under the Shops tab and need to be connected to the respective stores for product publishing and syncing.
  6. Store owners are given the option to enable or disable product sync for each page as per requirement.

Additional Notes

The Facebook Page should have a Product Catalog connected to enable product sync. It also needs the category “E-commerce Website” to be listed in the Shops section. These categories can be managed by visiting the Facebook Page and then going to the “About” section of the page. Here, “Categories” are found under “Contact and basic info”.

The Facebook Page needs to be connected to a Highlevel store under the Shops section for the sync to take place. Only one-time products will get synced to the Meta marketplace, as recurring products are not supported in Meta Marketplace. If inventory tracking is disabled or if the option to “continue selling out of stock” is selected, the inventory quantity will be set to 999 to fulfill the mandatory inventory requirement in Meta Commerce Manager.
