Zapier is an indispensable tool for not only Keap / HighLevel users but I would say all internet marketers. It just has so many uses, it’s a Swiss army knife type tool.
What Zapier does is easily connects different online tools together. So you can connect different tools like blocks of Lego to create your own customised systems.
Zapier cuts out the need to hire an API developer to write a bespoke programme to connect the two systems.

Here are some of the useful “Zaps” that I use, but this is just a fraction of the possibilities that Zapier opens up to Zapier and Keap / HighLevel users.
- Every time a new opportunity is created in Keap / HighLevel then Zapier sends me a text and a voice message telling me I have a new opportunity. The reason I do this is so that I can call the prospect ASAP (as 50% of business is won by the sale rep who gets in touch with he prospect first.
- As a new lead comes in I can auto-populate a Google spreadsheet. This can then be easily shared with others. And then as they become a customer I can auto-update the row in the spreadsheet.
- If I have a third party generating leads, the chances are they will forward the leave via an email. This can be a pain to manage eg say a lead comes in on Saturday night, then the email can easily get “missed”. With the Email Parser function of Zapier I can automatically accept the email, exact the details of the lead, push the contact in Keap / HighLevel and start the follow-up process. All automatically.
- If you are using Eventbrite to manage events. Then using Zapier as each registration comes in you can push the contact into Keap / Infusionsoft and trigger marketing automation. Then on the day of the event, you use Eventbrite to register the attendees, then via Zapier two things can trigger – you can follow up with all those that attend, and because you know who has attended then you can also work out who failed to attend, and so you can follow up with them appropriately.
- If you are advertising on Facebook or LinkedIn and using their lead capture forms then we can automatically push leads into Keap / Infusionsoft and start following up without delay.
These are just a few examples. So if you are looking to have Keap / HighLevel work in sync with another tool that does not have a native Keap / HighLevel integration then Zapier should be your first port of call before hiring an API developer.
