## What’s New?
HighLevel now boasts a Bot Status for Individual Contacts feature! This provides superior control over the AI bot’s activities for each contact. Enhanced management and monitoring of the bot’s status – be it Active, Sleep/Snooze, or Inactive, is now possible directly from the message composer for a more personalised interaction.
## How Does It Work?
1. **Accessing Bot Status:**
– The Bot Status can be accessed through the Conversations tab.
– In the Message Composer for any contact, find the bot’s current status, indicated by a green online icon (if active).
2. **Disabling Bot for a Specific Contact:**
– The bot status icon can be clicked to access the options.
– ‘Inactive’ can be selected from the dropdown menu.
– A duration may be set after which the bot will automatically reactivate, or leave this option unchecked to keep the bot off indefinitely.
– The bot’s status will update to reflect the chosen option.
3. **Sleep Timer:**
– The bot can be temporarily paused by choosing ‘Sleep/Snooze’ and setting a specific time for automatic reactivation.
4. **Automatic Off Scenarios:**
– The bot will automatically disable in scenarios like reaching the maximum message limit or when a manual or workflow message is sent.
> *This feature is only accessible when the bot operates in Suggestive or Auto-Pilot mode.*
HighLevel’s new feature allows for more precise control of the bot’s interactions. This ensures it engages only with the appropriate contacts at the correct times.
