Delightfully, HighLevel discloses the newest development in mobile payments, with integrated support for Square for Point of Sale (POS) and Mobile Payments. Through HighLevel, the ability is now accessible to users to utilize Cards on File, Manual Card Entry, and interface Square Readers to receive in-person payments employing POS from mobile applications. This upgrade is presently functioning on the public beta program for HighLevel and LeadConnector, with a public unveiling scheduled for the subsequent week.
Upgrades Include:
– Square cards on file: HighLevel and LeadConnector now offer the ability to utilize an existing card or append a novel card on file to administer in-person payments via Square.
– Square manual card entry: Card information of users can manually input on-the-spot via Square upon electing Square Payments.
– Square reader support: HighLevel and LeadConnector have the capability to link Square readers to a mobile application and process payments by swiping or inserting the customer’s card in the Square reader. Note: This feature is currently exclusive to iOS devices.
– Square Tap to Pay: Much-anticipated feature coming soon.
Steps Before Use:
1. Initiate a connection with the Square account by traversing to Payments → Integrations on the HighLevel web platform. Note that it is essential to re-initiate a connection if Square account has already been set up to guarantee uninterrupted operation of mobile payments.
2. Participation in the HighLevel or LeadConnector public beta program.
Guidelines for Usage:
1. Under “Square Live Mode”, select the active Square location to connect with the Square account.
2. Open the mobile app and operate the sub-account used for the Square connection.
3. Optional: Under “Square Payment Devices” in the mobile app settings, link the square reader with the app to collect payments.
4. Start a new transaction at the POS by keying in a bespoke amount or adding items from the product catalog.
5. Proceed to payment after reviewing the transaction details and linking a contact.
6. Select the “Square Payments” tile.
7. Request the customer to tap or insert their card if reader connected, otherwise, opt for “Manual Card Entry” and tab on “Charge” after manually entering the card details.
8. Execute the first payment successfully via Square!
Future Updates:
– Tap to Pay support for Square: HighLevel and LeadConnector are integrating the feature to allow the iOS device to be transformed into a payment terminal.
– Square Terminal support: Activation of the Square terminal with the mobile applications to commence acceptance of payments.
