Latest Features from HighLevel
HighLevel is thrilled to release a highly requested feature from the IdeasBoard — the ability to pause workflows on specific dates!
Now, it’s possible to pause a single workflow or even all workflows within a chosen date range. Additionally, these date ranges come with an “Annually” marking, which will regularly pause the same workflows on these selected days each year.
Details on How the New Feature Operates
HighLevel has introduced the Pause Workflow section into the Global Workflow Settings. Within this section, up to 15 different date ranges can be added, with the option to select one, multiple, or all workflows to place on hold.
Pausing a workflow makes it function similarly to its state when drafted. Furthermore, pause details can be easily tracked through each individual workflow builder settings.
Procedure for Using the New Feature
To use this feature, head to Global Workflow Settings and set the desired ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date’. Then, choose the workflows intending to be paused from the list that appears. ‘All’ or ‘Individual workflows’ can be selected, and clicking the ‘Annually’ box will pause the workflows on the chosen dates each year on the trot.
Options to duplicate or delete a row are available using the ‘Clone’ or ‘Delete’ icons. Last but not least, remember to hit ‘Save’ to apply the changes made.
Applicable Use Cases
The pause feature can halt workflows during specific holiday periods, such as from December 25th to January 2nd. This helps to avoid sending inadvertent communications to customers during such times. Simply select the date range, the workflows to pause, and save the configuration.
Noteworthy Points
The start and end dates shouldn’t exceed a difference of 15 days. It’s important that a workflow isn’t a part of overlapping date ranges. Also, remember that this pause feature is only available to admin roles.
