Changes to Call Recording Message Field by HighLevel

Implemented on March 25, 2023, HighLevel has modified the functionality of the call recording message field, imposing necessary provisions that a leading message cannot be left empty.

What Was the Previous System?

Under the earlier configuration, HighLevel would automatically play the default call recording message even if there were no characters at all in the call recording message field. On the other hand, when a single whitespace character was present, HighLevel would hold back playing any recording.

What Changes Have HighLevel Made?

The recent enhancement by HighLevel has revolutionised the way blank/whitespace call recording messages are handled. While the existing cases will continue to function as before, you do not have to rush into making any changes right away.

However, attempt to modify the Phone Number settings connected with these cases, and you will be required to enter a mandatory call recording message.

Further, HighLevel now demands that the call recording message field contains at least one character other than blank spaces. The aim of these changes is to achieve synchronization between what you see on the user interface (UI) and what is actually played as the call recording message. The changes intend to streamline the user experience and improve user interface engagement.
