HighLevel is pleased to announce new features. The latest enhancements provide store owners with the flexibility to customize text across different components and elements of their e-commerce stores. This promotes improved localization and incorporates brand-specific language.
Initially, text customization options were found scattered between the General and Advanced sections, with several fields lacking customizability. HighLevel has now simplified this by clustering all text settings into one dedicated area named ‘Text Customization’ inside the General settings.
Instructions for Text Customization
To use the improved text customization:
- Open the Store Builder and select the desired component for customization, such as Product List, Product Detail, Upsell, etc.
- In the General section of the Settings tab, navigate to the bottom to access the ‘Text Customization’ section.
- This section will reveal text options neatly sorted into sub-sections for various parts of your selected component, like Shipping Details, Payment Section, etc.
- Edit the text, labels, or headings in each of these sub-sections as required.
- To make these changes live, save your modifications and click ‘Publish’!
Additional Information
HighLevel users should note a few additional points.
- Some text elements, including error messages or empty result states, might not show up in the builder preview but are still customizable.
- Existing customization options like Button Options and Form Options have migrated to the Text Customization section. Therefore, the previous options won’t be accessible, nor needed.
- Stores currently functioning will continue to operate as they are, irrespective of whether the text settings are updated or not.
