HighLevel recently addressed a few glitches to enhance the user experience and provide more clear error messages for better problem resolution.
Google Adwords
Firstly, HighLevel rectified an issue with Google Adwords where conversion uploads were failing. The issue was due to the “One per click” counting type with missing GCLID and usage of gbraid/wbraid. Specific checks have now been added based on the counting type. Prioritization is given to the GCLID for “One per click” conversions. The error message for this issue was: “The Google Ads conversion tracking is set to ‘One per click,’ but the required GCLID is missing.”
Facebook CAPI
With Facebook CAPI, HighLevel made some significant improvements. Now, emojis are disallowed in payloads. Instead of generic errors, there will be clear error messages. The pertinent error message is: “Emojis and Special characters are not allowed in the stage/Event name”
Furthermore, improvements have been made to error messages for “Missing permission” when mismatched access tokens and Pixel IDs are utilized. The pertinent error message is: “This error occurs if the access token isn’t linked to a system user with admin rights for the ad account that owns the pixel. Please make sure the system user is an Admin and that both the user and the pixel belong to the same ad account.”
Updated Help Document
For further assistance, the Workflow action – Add to Google AdWords document has been revised.
