Overview
HighLevel is introducing the feature that allows agencies to customize messaging limits based on either message count or segments sent. This feature offers more control over setting message limits (based on SMS) and calculating charges (based on segments). It aids in avoiding undesired costs, more efficiently managing usage and updating client limits without the need for support assistance. The new feature is available effective immediately for all sub-accounts utilizing the Native Phone System.
Key Updates
New Setting Option: The HighLevel platform now allows agencies to establish custom daily/monthly messaging limits based either on the number of messages or on a per-segment basis.
Instant Updates:
– Should a sub-account reach its sending limit, a banner will be displayed on the Phone Numbers page, alerting all users (agency/sub-account) that the account has achieved its messaging limit.
– Additionally, configured emails will receive an alert when a sub-account reaches its messaging limit.
Access Control:
Only owners and admins of agencies have the permission to modify this setting. However, this is under the condition that the agency has been in service for at least three months and is not in a trial period.
Visibility:
The setting can be found in the Messaging Limit section under the Advanced Settings of the Phone Numbers tab.
Note:
The important point to note is that if a sub-account reaches its messaging limit, all consequent messages will fail for the remainder of the day, unless the limit is increased.
